  • Target 2015 Minifigure Gift Box Cube Now Available

    Alpinemaps

The 2015 Target Exclusive Minifigure Gift Cube is now available. Four minifigures are available per cube, with Lightning Lad (DC Super-Heroes), Kai (Ninjago), Sir Fangar (Chima), and Scuba Diver (City).  This set is available to purchase separately for $9.99, or you can get it free with a $50 City, Ninjago, or Super-Heroes purchase.  The DCPI for the set is 204-00-1716, which can be used to check the in-store inventory Brickpicker Target Inventory Tracker.  The item number is 49153007, and can be ordered online here.

The 2014 Target Exclusive Minifigure Gift Cube performance can be found here.  It retailed for $15.00.  These were hard to come by in the initial first month, which explains why the price spiked up to $40.00 in January 2015.  It has since hovered around $25 since February last year.  The set had an exclusive Superboy minifigure.  This is a great bundling opportunity, and I suspect you will see higher prices for combined sets than you might individually.

I love these little cubes.  Like Alpinemaps stated, these become more valuable with each passing year if more cubes are released on an annual basis.  Hopefully, this becomes a Holiday tradition with Target.

Alpinemaps did mention the 20% off promo code, but I removed it because it did not work for me or on LEGO sets.  The code is TOYS if you want to try it yourself.

Yes, the code was working when it went live, but it looks like they figured out that the cube is a LEGO set, and Target removed it from the eligible items list.

Quite a few people were able to get it at 20% off, but you had to be quick this morning.

I did not see this at my local target this morning.  (Oakland County, MI)

Checking the inventory tracker, there don't appear to be any in SoCal yet.  At least, not near me.   But I was able to buy online.

I can't tell, are the other 3 mini figures exclusive?

Last year the Lloyd Ninjago was exclusive, as was the Chima Laval. I never checked to find out if the Swamp cop was exclusive, but he really never generated interest.

This set is a winner if you're willing to part out. If not, i'd pass.

If Saturn Girl shows up someplace, you've got gold.

I'm guessing she's got to be coming sometime next year.  I sure hope so.  Now, if we could just get a classic Superboy, or, at least, some legs that might work for Superboy, *that* would be some real gold.

It'll probably be back as it's been in & out of stock several times since yesterday...

Do you know how to put a page monitor on this one?  I keep trying and I pick element and everything, but it just keeps going off as soon as I close the page and nothing has changed

I bought 36. I bought about 40 of them last year. Last year, I got about half at $15 and half at $12. I sold all my superboys at $15 and my Lloyds at $11. I've sold about 35 of the Lavertus for $5 each and 20 of the city figs at $4 each. Cost $540. Sales $1320. Fees about $160. Postage and supplies about $388. Profit approx $232. Pretty great roi, and once you make the listing, it takes what, a minute to pack and ship? Price is better this year and the city figure is way better too. We'll have to see if that Ninjago figure is a good seller. I understand that a lot of people wouldn't be interested, but I don't think this investment makes one not smart.
