Awesome glad to see this old thread still provides some inspiration! 3D printing the mounting adapters seems to be the way to go now, my original archaic mount still doing the job though. Originally made it for the 10179 so it's got some mileage on it haha.

Got my order for personal collection, looks like it's still available this morning. I don't have much of a plan for them really, i had these on my radar but could never find any, so had given up until yesterday. I mean you can sell them right now and make a good return, but yeah i'll hold for sure and just keep an eye on them over the year.

For personal build, i'll hold one and see if there's x-mas demand for it, but yeah main reason for purchase was to build. And yeah all things considered this year %25 isn't the worst haha.

Mastermind has a BOGO %50, code "HEADSTART20" excludes hard to find and "newer" Lego items. It's not much, but we haven't really seen any of the usual blanket %20 off sales Toysrus does this year due to everything going on. Wanted to get a couple AT-ATs, but obviously they are too new to apply. Ampli (cashback app) also have spend over $40 get %5 back at mastermind.

When this was rumoured I thought "man this would be a good set to have wall mounted" and sure enough even TLG put a wall mounted shot in the promo pics, maybe that means it will have an easy wall mount modification, like a couple L bracket slots or something. Definitely picking this up.

I had no idea there was even another wave from this theme... Just discovered them the other day. Castle looks pretty cool, as does the "Slenderman" looking build in the firetruck set.
