The fifth and sixth are probably the best ones as far as being coherent, well-written movies, but as a fan of the series and of car tuning I think they're all worth watching through to see how both the movies have matured and the car scene changed.

I feel that the groove bricks are important to the look of the facade, so personally I would not swap it out for another brick. I would suggest: 1. Switch to another color as you mentioned. Sand blue is cheap because of availability from Pet Shop, and looks good. 2. Keep sand green, but only use groove bricks where necessary. Some of the 57 bricks have the groove facing inward or facing another brick, so those can be swapped with a normal 1x2 brick without affecting the appearance. I can't recall how many it is, but you might be able to find it in that Eurobricks thread or by looking at a LDD model of the set.

This is the link I came here to post. I used it to bricklink a GG and it was incredibly helpful. Also has good tips in there for Cafe Corner and Market Street. I was able to bricklink mine with all new parts for $450, making the recommended substitutions in that thread (no sand green 1x8s, etc). I know someone was able to do it under $400, by spending more time carefully choosing their shops to buy from. I was also able to put together a Blue Grocer (all sand green parts swapped to sand blue) for under $300. It looks surprisingly good and is an excellent alternative if having the original color isn't absolutely required to you. If you are trying to bring the cost down, definitely go with Bricklink. While it may be easy to just try and buy it all from BnP, I'm fairly certain the cost of doing so is going to come close to just buying a used GG from eBay.

Wouldn't you still need separate shipping addresses too? I would assume they can tie orders together using that as well, not just VIP accounts.

I don't think we can say that Tumblers will return right on January 1 though. All the message has said is "remainder of 2014" and with a shortage that major, they might not be ready right at the start of the year either, which might give a bit of time after Christmas to alleviate the risk of returns.

Call your Lego stores to see if they got any in today, just had one placed on hold for me at my store.

Yea I'm so confused.

I noticed the message on LEGO Shop at Home was revised to say "Limited quantities may be available in October in LEGO Stores" (addition of October estimate). This would seem to support the idea of sets going to fill backorders and any leftovers going to B&Ms, but then again the Tumbler also has this October message so who knows.
