  1. Hi, I think you did the best job possibly given the unforeseen circumstances. If I may offer a suggestion going forward especially if this is the new “norm” of Lego using thinner corrugated factory boxes for CMFs . Please don’t slap the postage label directly to the Lego CMF box. My box was damaged during USPS transit. Not your fault. I would gladly pay more if you can use an actual shipping box. Again, thanks for helping Brickpickers.
  2. I hate this new box style. While more environmentally friendly, it sucks protection-wise.

  4. They allowed signups on Tuesday. Called it a “beta”. Lol. Gotta say the USPS website handled the increased traffic.
  5. Damn. @exciter1and @Alpinemaps post here & already have more likes than the OP who dished the info. Ha
  6. If true, I’m a happy camper. ——- There’s a new rumor that we could be seeing the return of the LEGO Indiana Jones theme later this year. StoneWars is reporting that an online ship has listed a range of sets (75571-75574) codenamed “Coconut” that will be releasing in October that suggests that the theme will make its return after 13 years. LEGO does codenames for various themes which includes “Banana” for Minions and “Leaf” for Super Mario and the coconut may be referencing the ones found in the LEGO Indiana Jones 2 video game. As always, these are purely rumors until LEGO announces them or images show up at an online shop. Source = @tormentalous https://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-indiana-jones-theme-rumored-for-2022/
  7. Finished the 21057 Singapore build. Nice colorful build but would have preferred a larger set but that’s not the point of the Architecture Skyline series.
  8. i found this picture helpful. https://twitter.com/neurotheory/status/1477888239906148354?s=20 granted, this fella went a little crazy w/ testing.
  9. yes. some of us have built 10129. most prefer the new version though. Great sets. we have threads about each. e.g.
  10. New set isn’t worth MSRP. Wait until a -20% sale if not in a hurry. Regarding the Marina Bay Sands part of the build… The original set is bigger and better build. Granted, the newer set looks better with the extra colors, foliage and buildings around it. Maybe LEGO will do a proper refresh of MBS in a future set. note: pics below are missing one 4 by 4 circle plate / element on the older set. i forgot it in the box.

  12. https://www.thebrickfan.com I’m not sure how true this is but it looks like the LEGO Store Calendars that we’ve all been used to have been cancelled for 2022. In an imagethat has been floating around online, it states that due to market planning and in conjunction with world events, it has become difficult to develop engaging calendar content within a certain timeline and the December 2021 calendar was the last one. As of this post, there is no store calendars listed on the LEGO Shopwhich usually goes up a week before the new month. If this message is true, it’ll be extremely difficult to know what gift-with-purchase items LEGO will have for each month and in turn, makes it harder for consumers to manage their purchases as they don’t know what will be going on. I assume that a lot of people plan their purchases around the GWPs and with the calendar gone, it will most likely encourage more impulse purchases. Keep in mind that we’re not sure if the message is true or it has been fabricated but we’re looking to get some answers from the LAN so we’ll see. Thanks to Jesus for the heads up.
  13. I sent mine back. Wasn’t happy with it despite the cool design for the same reasons in @revel68 post.
  14. Oh yes. France. How the heck can I forgot about France. It was France and Florida from what I saw. There was someone in Del. selling ‘fake’ tiles though. Not many but had a few. Yes. Not you. for my set, I kept the Lego paperwork that came w/ the tile just in case if needed when eventually selling it.
