  2. In my experience (based on roughly 10 Targets in Chicago that I am familiar with), certain Targets are considered "City Targets" and mark up prices 10-15% higher (some even higher, depending on the product). City Targets are exactly that - they are Targets located in very densely populated or commercial areas with lots of traffic. Other Targets, even though they are still in the metropolitan area, don't fall under this model and have normal pricing. Oddly, City Targets also send out their own seperate ad with the newspaper in addition to the normal Target ad. There's nothing special about the ad except it is shorter in length and smaller in size.
  3. Is there any particular version of Frodo you're looking for?
  4. Apologies in advance if this is answered elsewhere... Does subscribing in the app subscribe you to email notifications too, or only to notifications from the app?
  5. I suggest using going on eBay and use the "sold listing" filter.

  7. Bought a lot off of shopgoodwill.com. Listing was for half of UCS Yoda, and I got outbid on the second listing that included the other half. If the other bidder reads this, contact me, and maybe we can work something out, as neither of us can do anything with half a Yoda, LOL.
  8. Made my contribution under "comicblast" I, for one, have greatly benefitted from being a part of this community over the last several years and am grateful to the Macks for all of the time and effort they have invested in creating the BP community and the BC market. Part of me is also disappointed with the lackluster response of members, and I honestly expected this to have a bare minimum of 500 backers at this point. If I (an unemployed teenager who sells a little here and there) can sacrifice a little for the ONLY TIME EVER that the Macks have asked for something in return, surely more of you could make a donation or enter the raffle too!! The return I have received from LEGO investing, reselling, and participating in the community far outweighs anything I have given back to the community (through reviews, articles, posts, deals, etc.), but when I have the time and the means, I try to do my part, and encourage ALL of you to also make a contribution to a worthy cause.
  9. Wow, it never ceases to surprise me how much US and European prices can differ. I thought I did well selling mine for $83 on eBay earlier this week lol.
  10. As a 16 year old myself, I'd go for a Super Heroes set over Star Wars (larger mass appeal, even though personally I am a bigger fan of SW). There are also some pretty cool CITY sets that I'd also recommend, and you actually get more since its a non-licensed theme. If you don't mind some research, Brickset has written up an article on 2015 Holiday toy suggestions for sub $25 and $25-$50.
  11. Are you looking about the eBay listing and calling it creative?? It's the exact same as the LEGO sets, just with bootleg bricks, and splitting the 10230 Mini Modulars set into seperate buildings.
  12. Thanks for the clarification, asharerin. Do FBA sellers end up paying the entire shipping cost, since they don't get a shipping credit?
  13. Newbie selling on Amazon here. Listed my first couple items yesterday, and no sales so far, but I do have a question in regards to shipping. The shipping for this set is $8.49 (default on Amazon), and the shipping credit is the same amount. For this item, using either UPS or USPS will be at least $40, calculated using their shipping calculators, so how is Amazon getting $8.49?? They must know that shipping will be more expensive than that for a heavier and larger item. Does Amazon have agreements with shipping carriers to discount overall shipping costs? Or are we expected to "build in" the difference? Or both? Thanks for the answers, guys!
  14. I'm not sure if this answers your question, but in the Brickfolio "Add Brickfolio item" tab, there is an option to add a custom item, with all the normal information associated with the Brickfolio, along with the addition of a name for the item. I've heard of people using this option for things like LEGO displays, or other custom jobs.
