  2. I blame the baby boomer politicians. Their greed and reluctance to give up power in this country has gotten us here. Someone is getting a kickback or benefit by looking the other way for just about every bad thing happening in this country. Including knock-off bricks.

    Star Wars 2024

Final anniversary minifigure goes to R2-KT. I'd like to believe Lego will follow what every other manufacturer has done when creating this figure, and donate a portion to children's charities.

    LEGO VIP Insiders/GWP Discussion

My thing is will it EVER sell out? Look Wonders of the World "Limited Edition" is back now for a FOURTH time. I am just going for the complete set of the Ninjago City GWPs and don't think I will do two sets.  This years D2C Nijago set sounds similar to Temple of Airjitsu but with a Dragon.

What LEGO set did you build today?

This was a little tricky and unstable for such a small set but comes together nicely.

What Lego set did you sell today and for how much?

Probably not.  The supposed armored Moff Gideon will be really cool.  Sounds like they gave him a new helmet mould as well.

    Bricklink's AFOL Designer Program 2021

I guess I don't have any problem with all these castles being made (though I'm personally getting a bit burnt out), but I would like to see some other themes get produced on this scale.  I prefer classic space to castle, and while TLG is producing some interesting space sets, there's nothing approaching the scale of these castles that has the classic space feel.  I won't even talk about what a ludicrous miss that space CMF set is.  But I do think a 3k - 4k piece classic space set would do quite

There is a target market for classic space theme. This does not hit that market. Is the second figure holding a pot of mashed potatoes?

10391 an absurd Pharrell Williams "Piece by Piece" biopic set

And the latest flop/discounted part out pack belongs to this, an absurd set based on the Pharrell Williams movie because it's his life told in a story created in Lego pieces.  The codename for the set was "10391 Moments Space", and this is what you will get instead.  Let's all be hopeful that this is a really early April Fools joke.

    My order status

I have been picking up a lot of salvage and pawn shop sets off of eBay for a nice discount. Also, had someone drop ship me the same set twice once from Kohls and again from Walmart. But this was an interesting find when I went to verify the contents of this Amazon return free box cutter inside.

    HONEY Cash Back Deals

I’m glad you are off timeout, but I would not use them again after the way they treated me and knowing they could pull the rug out of you at any time, as a matter of principal. To close out my story after contacting Paypal a second time I found a sympathetic ear in the promotions department who credited my account ($100) for most of the denied credit of $120 but I wouldn't expect it to happen again, the first Paypal contact never got back to me and never heard back from Honey over a month l

What Lego set did you buy today?

While technically not a buy, the next-door neighbor had an estate sale today, is moving and gave me a Lego storage container as a thank you for taking care of her lawn over the years.  What looked like an ordinary container turned out to be quite the find after going through it.  This is same neighbor who gave me a tote of her son’s old Lego that had a nearly complete 6991 Monorail Transport Base set in it with the instructions.  I feel so fortunate and lucky.

    Other Hobbies

Been a couple weeks since the last. The "buttery brioche" I mentioned above turned out fine. Very rich in taste. I could recommend trying what I did (using almost as much butter as flour) once just to taste for yourself. Otherwise, regular brioche (in the realm of 40%-50% butter) will do fine for anything. It is quite the versatile style of dough. I did use a little too much flour around the end for the final shaping causing the dough to not stick to itself when baked making the fancy three
