From time to time the newsletter itself announces certain coupons (e.g. to save 12€ on purchases of 75+€). Also, there are cashback sites like qipu.de that offer further price reductions if you visit a website (e.g. galeria-kaufhof.de) to make a purchase, you just have to use a direct link from their site to get these discounts. I am used to sales which should go online at midnight and actually start between 4-7 o'clock and you are sitting all night in front of you computer pressing F5..
