I've got a Saturn V 21309 up for sale and I'm being offered a trade of 75189 (First Order Heavy Assault Walker) and 75190 (First Order Star Destroyer ) for it, both new.  Would you take the deal?  If I did it, I'd be looking to flip those sets fairly quickly.

Both are abut $160 and $150 each.  The Saturn V retails for $120. At first glance, it seems like a great deal but it's not. Factor in that in 3 months after the movie, the sets will be at least 20% off a piece.  Six months down the road, you will start seeing steeper discounts at certain retailers due to the influx.  Even at 50% off, they remain more expensive than the Saturn V but they aren't worth as much.

Saturn V is easier to get a hold of now than it was in the past 3 months but it remains highly popular and sought after. Based on prices online and how much it's selling for, it's in more demand than compared to the SW sets, which are readily available.  Factor in the fees associated with any online sales, it may not be worth it.

Unless you have a customer lined up for the SW sets to flip, I would dissuade you from parting with it.  However, if you wanted those two sets, then go ahead.

I'd take that all day assuming it's a live exchange.

yeah, no one lined up to take the SW sets off my hands, I'd just be trying ebay or other local avenues to sell.  I figure I'd need to sell them quickly and at at least 25% RRP
