Lego sets without Orignial box value???

Ofcourse...Lego always have some value...even as simply bulk random pieces (unless damaged).

That said, A sealed box brings top dollar and anything less than that depends on the set.  The easiest is to search ebay filtered for "used" and "sold" and see what the current going rate in general is for a used set. I often buy used sets and don't really care about the box since it may increase the shipping costs.  I think it's a bigger deal for in-person deals like craigslist. Much more attractive to sell a used set w/ its original box...implicitly conveys that the set was well taken care of (i.e., intended for resale) and less likely "played with". Can typically get a little bit more, I think or at least more offers.
