akohns Posted August 15, 2013 Share Posted August 15, 2013 My general rule: complete sets worth $50 or more, unless it will cost more than 25% of it's value to complete. I haven't dealt with the extreme max side of the scale, $400 is about the highest value set I have completed/sold so not sure what my rule would be ... I think if I found a cafe corner or something I would go for the complete up to the break even point, just to have built it I've got a CC that I got last month. Some was still in polybags. I completed the bottom floor and it was mostly complete and got to the second floor and realized I was missing a lot after that. I've still got about a gallon ziplock full of parts but I haven't had the time to inventory it yet as I just bought two other used lots.
