One of the coolest ships ever created. It's from the cartoon Star Blazers that was run in the mid 1970s. Awesome show. Everyone should watch it.

Seeing how everyone else has been showing off their collection, well, here is mine! Everything shown will be built in due time but for the moment that will have to wait until my room becomes more organized for building. As the title suggests, I took this picture around the start of October so there are quite a few sets I have purchased since then missing aside from all the (other) polybags, Speedorz, and Collectable Minifigures. (I don't think I even have enough room to fit all of my Collectable Minifigures. Ha.) I used some painters tape to stick the polybags on the wall just cause those spots seemed 'empty'. Plus I felt like it. :P

The RS-57 is a gunrunner frame, designed specifically to strike hard and strike fast. Instead of manipulator arms, the Damascus opts instead for, simply, big friggin' guns. On the right 'arm' sits a dual-barrel bore cannon, capable of veritably shredding an enemy at mid-range. On the left 'arm' lies two quad-missile launchers linked together for burying an opponent at longer ranges. Its legs were built to be highly mobile and highly adaptable. They handle most terrains with ease. Aided by the front sensor eye, the Damascus can get in, get to business, and get out before any serious retaliation even starts. LFOW's Note:This is now up for sale, as part of my initial line of customs I'm offering to the community. Look for an updated link here soon. FLICKR LINK.

LFOW's Note: This is my first venture into Malcom's time-tested and lovely MgN frame. I've fiddled with it here and there, but never sat down and fleshed out a frame decent enough to do the MgN name justice. So, speaking of justice, I've created an MFZ 'Galaxy Police' unit. It comes armed with a quad flash-grenade launcher, a giant nightstick, and a pair of frame-sized handcuffs. Also, according to Wikipedia, the police code 594 is for "Malicious mischief". Currently working a a MoC of the Breaking Bad Lab. Trying to keep it as accurate as possible to the show. I'm a slow builder and don't have a lot of time to put into it, but I'll post updates in here when I can. hoping to get it finished before Part 2 of Series 5 airs.

Fighting against the Ijad taught the Solar Union one important lesson: desperation and determination can quickly lead to innovation. The design of the ST-02 "Scrambler" set the precedent for what would become dozens of quadruped frame variants, all of which the Ijad have succeeded with. The ST-23 represents the Solar Union's reverse engineering of the Ijad quadruped design, favoring more traditional weaponry to the SU such as the burst cannons shown here. The Castor otherwise functions exactly like its Ijad predecessor, able to quickly skitter around and up difficult terrain to gain the advantage. LFOW's Note: You're looking at a frame comprised of exactly 50 LEGO pieces and 50 KRE-O pieces. No I did not plan that out, but that's how it fell. KRE-O's pieces have impressed me more than any other LEGO competitor in terms of quality, color, and compatibility. Honestly I think the main problem with KRE-O is the fact they use bad CGI renditions of their models for their box art, instead of showing off the product in the flesh. This almost makes them look cheaper than they actually end up being. This frame here is made up from parts from the KRE-O Battleship line Helicopter Attack set. Its version of Olive green is a bit darker and richer than LEGO's offering. I'll definitely be picking up more of these if I can still find them. FLICKR LINK.

The barren, desert wastelands of Fenris VI are a known refuge for smugglers, ruffians, and mercenaries; the black markets there attract such scoundrels. But there's a section of the great desert Khras, beset by constant sandstorms, that even the cutthroats won't venture into anymore. Rumors of a mobile frame rising from the sand and hewing apart anything in its path, as if it was the fury of the desert itself, have kept them clear. Yet every now and again, one doesn't heed the warnings, doesn't believe the tales, and ventures into the violent sandstorm. And there, the Charon and its mysterious pilot, lay in wait amongst the sands. FLICKR LINK.

The 00009 is the production model of the UMD-30 "Acheron" frame, re-purposed as a peacekeeping unit by the Solar Union to guard Transit Gates, Government Installations and other key public facilities. Unlike the Acheron, the Seneschal has had its armor bulked up, favoring durability over mobility, though it retains the Acheron's iconic head-mounted sensor array. Its armament includes a heavy plasma beam cannon for ranged attacks, and a vibro-glaive for melee encounters. LFOW's Note: This is actually the first frame I've designed which is going to hit the market! I'll be listing this frame on an eBay auction sometime soon when I work out some details. Testing the waters to see if my designs have a place amongst people who would prefer to buy complete MFZ frames rather than go through the process of obtaining parts and building themselves. THIS FRAME IS FOR SALE! FLICKR LINK.

The I-ST-28 is the Ijad's latest advancement in the 'acquired' ST-07 "Chub" line of frames. Sporting highly reactive armor plating on the shoulders and chestplate, the Paladin is durable enough to get into the thick of the fray, closing in with its 'Holy Mandate' pattern great bludgeon. LFOW's note: I have committed the gravest sin and allowed Mega Blok pieces to become attached to my LEGOs, but I regret nothing. The two pieces I used for the mace head and the 2x2 piece I used for the chest come from the Ultimate Action Dragon Destroyer set, for those who want to know/follow my sins. FLICKR LINK.

The success of my unholy union of Mega Bloks and LEGOs has spurred me to add fuel to the fire. This frame sports LEGOs, Mega Bloks, and even a couple KRE-O pieces. I can say that I am a former purist. Finding unique pieces in other brands (except Best Lock, these are such bad quality I will never touch them) is becoming quite exciting. Some of the parts are really neat and flow great with MFZ frames. Look for more like this in the future in what I'll tag "Brickblended" MOCs. LFOW's Note: As with the ST28I "Paladin" I'll identify the non-LEGO bits. The gun and the connecting orange hoses, along with the dark grey container pieces in the background are Mega Bloks. The silvery chest slopes are both KRE-O. Additional Shots: Front Side Rear FLICKR LINK.

The RS-70 is a digitigrade walker frame that's meant for siege breaking and front-line assaults. With a sturdy and wide leg design, the Flint can maneuver around difficult terrain easily. For armaments, it forgoes proper arms for twin quad-barrel burst lasers, and has options for other weaponry and systems depending on the mission. LFOW's Note: This frame is me using inspiration from A YATES' and Ironsniper's general aesthetic they use for their massively creative frames. Thanks to you both! The Thane is a sturdy but agile run-and-gun frame. Built for forward scouting and assaults, the SR-44 is equipped with twin quad-barrel missile launchers in place of arms for weapons, high-stress armor plating, and unique leg actuators build for all terrain types. LFOW's note: While this is in Mistarille Dawn colors I don't really consider this part of their force (which is pretty much done). I wanted to make a completely new frame with some crazy angles and never-done-before (by me) connections. I'm happy with the result. FLICKR LINK.

LFOW's Note: I felt inspired by the Starcraft 2 version of the Reaver today looking over some parts, and remembering Afny's wonderfully constructed Seeder, I constructed my own homage, the ST-18I "Censure" artillery crawler. FLICKR LINK.

Following in the suit of the overhaul of the M9E "Gernsback" to the XM9 "Gernsback", Highlord Tyrestian, first of the Mistarille Dawn, has revamped his M9E-based Helios. The result is the XH9 "Helios Invictus". The XH9's torso has been reinforced with ablative, sloping plates. The head is now based on the new XM9, as are the leg actuators. Armaments-wise, the "Pinnacle of the Sun" sensor array from the original Helios has been reworked into a bulwark, making it less vulnerable to damage. The "Torch of First Light" spear remains as it always has: the first blade drawn against the Solar Union, and the burning symbol of the Dawn's light upon the wicked. FLICKR LINK.
