Not bubble wrap but, if you live near an actual (paper) newspaper office then almost all will sell you their paper end rolls for $1-2. There is a ton on plain white newspaper left on those tubes and make great dunnage when wadded up. Three rolls, like in the photo below, would last you hundreds, if not thousands, of packaging. Not bad for under $5. Many big Amazon resellers use these as it is so much cheaper than bubble wrap. Buy directly from the newspaper if you live near one. Many people buy up all they can and then mark them up to $10+ a roll online.4 points

Placed a $35.64 order free shipping with Target. They offered a $1 discount to combine shipments, then proceeded to charge me $5.99 shipping as my total was now less that $35. Sent from my SM-A326U1 using Tapatalk3 points

LOL Jang lost his loyalty to LEGO when LEGO removed his reviews of sets that were released early in EU (but not yet in US). This was what, 5 years ago ? Having said that, if the brick company holds official license from the IP owners, it should not be classified as knock off brand. 🤷♂️ Looking at CADA website, I am tempted to buy this Trueno from Initial D anime. https://decadastore.com/products/initial-d-toyata-trueno-ae86-c61024w2 points

There were responses to previous posts regarding the viability of Duplo. They've been hidden. Happy Birthday @raindog2 points

I know Jang has reviewed quite a few other brands, lots of Mega Halo stuff. I do appreciate him calling Lego out this whole time given their asking prices. I doubt these sets will convince Lego to print more of their elements, but we can hope. From what you're saying, it sounds like if they have a set that fills a void, it is a viable alternative to Lego, but Lego would still be preferred if cost wasn't a factor. I wonder if that Lego joy will ever fade for some of us, or if younger people will even develop it.1 point

No, it started out more of a know thy enemy sort of thing but the results are the results. I have a Flego apocalypsburg, my white whale set, from Marstoys but I am really not looking forward to building it if it is similar to the build experience of the Old Fishing Store. I was thinking of grabbing 2 Rivendell from Marstoys to do the MOC as previously posted but definitely won’t. However because the Flego stuff isn’t good enough for me doesn’t mean that many will turn to it because of the savings for something that is nearly as good as Lego. As far as these Pantasy sets I am done as well unless something new comes out that really looks great. I still have the Pantasy Wood Cabin to build and a FunWhole Farmerstand and I may get the Farmers Truck for $30 to go with it. I don’t see someone buying the Bakery if they still need the Lego Jazz Club, Boutique Hotel, Book shop or Natural History Museum. However if someone wants a Detectives Office or Green Grocer I can see them easily going with Flego than resellers. I just didn’t trust these reviewers saying Flego was just as good as Lego and needed to see for myself, it is not, but for the savings it will be an option for many. Here this will put your mind at ease 🤣1 point

Not sure if that adjective is based on experience? Everything I've read on online forums indicates the same as pseudoty. GoBricks is very high quality. The rise of the clones is an extremely important event in the Lego world and needs to be covered far more comprehensively, if anything. It's unusual even for a dominant player in any given consumer category to have such a monopolistic stranglehold; perhaps this is the beginning of the end of that. I find it interesting that Mega has come up with some worth lego level designs, but their bricks arent up to snuff. Pantasy on the other hand to me seems perhaps the opposite. Great bricks but not loving the designs.1 point

I guess one other thing. Didn't they ask for battery information in the past when creating the listings? You might be able to delete the listing and create a new one with the battery compliance information checked off.1 point

Same but for the Friends Lighthouse. I don't think I have any left in my inventory - if I delete the listing does that make the compliance notification go away, or is still a hurdle I need to navigate?1 point

yea the mocs and original design are safe but many (most?) of the myriad of KO Flego companies crank out both. I'd wager most of the $$$ amount of flego bought is going towards illegal replicas... Lego legal probably doesnt feel its worth their time but with the economy plateauing and lego income post peak, they may well start to crack down. In fact, I'm extremely surprised they haven't already given the blatant and widespread availability of the clones. Begun, the clone wars have...1 point

After more than 3 months, I was able to get all of my stock returned. It took more than a month to get any response at all, after pinging through every contact I had there multiple times. It then took more than 2 months to have them set up a return. And even at that point I had no idea things were going to come back. Eventually I had a ****-ton of stuff delivered randomly. I had couple dozen smaller items missing, but I assume they sold and got credited to someone else.... as it wasn't uncommon for me to have random items I never sent in credited to me, so I'll call it a wash. I also had one item returned that I never sent them. I didn't overdo it there like some people, but still tens of thousands of inventory over the years. 53% was the total lost to fees through them. This includes platform fees, vendor fees, storage, and shipping. Gross profit after fees was 99.4%, which is nothing to complain about at face value. But while not having control of your stock, many items missed prime selling windows. Looking at my spreadsheets, profit would have been at least 2.5x higher selling on my own, and much higher on a lot of items that missed their big bumps. I think they had a fine idea that grew too fast because they accepted too many people in before having the logistics figured out. Then moving all the inventory to another state just compounded things and it all collapsed from there.1 point

Yes, many thanks Tonka for following through on this. I'll may later regret saying this, but .... If folks want to DM their lists to me, I can collate them, remove dupes, and then pass them along to Tonka. Should only take you a few mins. go to manage inventory page set page max list to 250 items (not sure how I did this) search for "discontinued" Highlight all the search results. copy (Ctrl-C) and paste them into WordPad (or some other plain-text equivalent) doc. (important **not** Word. WordPad will save as plain text... no meta data) save and send If you want to delete some info, like quantity listed, that's OK by me. All I need is the "B0..."
