  1. The syndey opera house was revealed! The set is creator and has 2989 pieces and retails for 319.99 U.S. Link to Eurobricks review. Name: Sydney Opera House Number: 10234 Pieces: 2,989 Retail: US - $319.99, CAN - $379.99, AUS - $?, UK -
  2. Yoyo is selling them for 55. Good price or wait for a better deal?
  3. I finally found about five of these at Target and thought "Cool, I've been looking for these". It seems like a great deal of gaining 607 pieces for $30, doesn't it? ....That was until I took a good look at the list of what was included. Granted this is meant to be more of something you give to a child for free time creativity hence the name but honestly there doesn't seem to be a decent amount of each brick. If anything the selection is seriously jumbled up with a lack of concentration in any area. For example, there is a hefty collection of blue bricks but it
  4. I haven't started a new topic specifically asking what people thought about a certain set before but I suppose there's a first time for everything, eh? Anyway, I found a couple of this item on sale the other day and wondered what you guys think about the set itself. I must say the designs are cute in a childlike way. However I feel a little reserved because there just isn't a large quantity of certain pieces to build something great with only one set or maybe even a few. There is an interesting variety of good parts, just not many. Another thing is Creator houses typically can earn some growth but again this is a very small kid's playhouse in every sense. Still, there is a sort of fun allure to the whole thing with plenty of playful features in each build. I could definitely see this standing beside the Family House to complete the family scene. Perhaps at the right discount this could be considered?
  5. I saw images on flickr for this set earlier and was wondering just when the review would get posted. Well, here it is! Name: Cargo Truck Number: 60020 Pieces: 321 Minifigures: 3 Retail: US - $29.99, CAN - $49.99, AUS - $39.99, UK -

  7. Just the other day, I found two polybags at Walmart; one of which is insanely rare! Far as location goes, it really just depends on your store. Check everywhere! Best bet maybe those bins in the middle of the aisles as that was where I found mine. Leonidas' Jungle Dragster (30253) The Toys R Us exclusive polybag back in January. Little Car (30183) This one is ludicrously rare! It originally appeared in some random store from Sweden. Well, now it finally came stateside. Both were $3.97 I think. The car may have been $3.47; it's on the receipt somewhere. Also, Ice Cream Stand has once more appeared at Walmart. One last note for anyone who missed the post, Target has Ewar's Acro Fighter (30250) up at the checkouts for $3.99 which was formally Shop-at-Home's freebie back in January.
  8. I just got an email for LEGO, including the instructions for all the LEGO Store Monthly Mini Builds. Not sure how many of you guys are dying to get these instructions, but there they are anyways: 40061 - Igloo http://responsys.hs.llnwd.net/i2/responsysimages/content/lego/01-13-Igloo-40061.pdf?CMP=EMC-VIP2013AcctY_DecUS&HQS=VIP_MB_Jan&RRID=21235358&RMID=VIP_2013_12_PointBalance_PR_US 40062 - Log Cabin http://responsys.hs.llnwd.net/i2/responsysimages/content/lego/02-13-Cabin-40062.pdf?CMP=EMC-VIP2013AcctY_DecUS&HQS=VIP_MB_Feb&RRID=21235358&RMID=VIP_2013_12_PointBalance_PR_US 40063 - Sea Turtle http://responsys.hs.llnwd.net/i2/responsysimages/content/lego/03-13-Turtle-40063.pdf?CMP=EMC-VIP2013AcctY_DecUS&HQS=VIP_MB_Mar&RRID=21235358&RMID=VIP_2013_12_PointBalance_PR_US 40064 - Lamb http://responsys.hs.llnwd.net/i2/responsysimages/content/lego/04-13-Sheep-40064.pdf?CMP=EMC-VIP2013AcctY_DecUS&HQS=VIP_MB_Apr&RRID=21235358&RMID=VIP_2013_12_PointBalance_PR_US 40065 - Kingfisher http://responsys.hs.llnwd.net/i2/responsysimages/content/lego/05-13-BlueJay-40065.pdf?CMP=EMC-VIP2013AcctY_DecUS&HQS=VIP_MB_May&RRID=21235358&RMID=VIP_2013_12_PointBalance_PR_US 40066 - Fisherman http://responsys.hs.llnwd.net/i2/responsysimages/content/lego/06_MiniBuild_Fisherman.pdf?CMP=EMC-VIP2013AcctY_DecUS&HQS=VIP_MB_Jun&RRID=21235358&RMID=VIP_2013_12_PointBalance_PR_US 40067 - Crab http://responsys.hs.llnwd.net/i2/responsysimages/content/lego/07-13-Crab-40067.pdf?CMP=EMC-VIP2013AcctY_DecUS&HQS=VIP_MB_Jul&RRID=21235358&RMID=VIP_2013_12_PointBalance_PR_US 40068 - Flamingo http://responsys.hs.llnwd.net/i2/responsysimages/content/lego/08-13-Flamingo-40068.pdf?CMP=EMC-VIP2013AcctY_DecUS&HQS=VIP_MB_Aug&RRID=21235358&RMID=VIP_2013_12_PointBalance_PR_US 40069 - Pirate http://responsys.hs.llnwd.net/i2/responsysimages/content/lego/09Pirate.PDF?CMP=EMC-VIP2013AcctY_DecUS&HQS=VIP_MB_Sep&RRID=21235358&RMID=VIP_2013_12_PointBalance_PR_US 40070 - Witch http://responsys.hs.llnwd.net/i2/responsysimages/content/lego/10-13-Witch-40070.pdf?CMP=EMC-VIP2013AcctY_DecUS&HQS=VIP_MB_Oct&RRID=21235358&RMID=VIP_2013_12_PointBalance_PR_US 40071 - Lawn Mower http://responsys.hs.llnwd.net/i2/responsysimages/content/lego/11_Tractor.pdf?CMP=EMC-VIP2013AcctY_DecUS&HQS=VIP_MB_Nov&RRID=21235358&RMID=VIP_2013_12_PointBalance_PR_US 40072 - Rocking Horse http://responsys.hs.llnwd.net/i2/responsysimages/content/lego/12-13-Horse-40072.pdf?CMP=EMC-VIP2013AcctY_DecUS&HQS=VIP_MB_Dec&RRID=21235358&RMID=VIP_2013_12_PointBalance_PR_US
  9. I have not confirmed for myself yet but The Brick Fan has posted a report of someone finding in Target's Christmas (holiday) section three polybags. Ice Cream Stand (30106) Available at Target for a second time, so if for any reason you missed this before, here is your last chance. Seasonal Christmas Train (40034) Kraang's Laser Turret (30270) Can you give me a "Hell Yeah!" Now you can get Krang in exo-suit without buying the Shellraiser.
  10. Well, another Vic Viper month of building has gone by paying tribute to the late nnenn. As usual, there is a poster map showing a compilation of the many contributions. This year we have 174 Vic Vipers by 115 builders. >Nnovvember 2013 by pasukaru76, on Flickr You can visit the original Vic Vipers Flickr pool to see all the original images as well as some designs not featured.
  11. Well, here was an obvious choice for a CUUSOO project. Get your very own Mini Limited Crawler! Designed by Sujiro
  12. More of a poll for builders and fans of Creator; plus the fact I love another excuse for a poll. Anyway, here are links to each for referance and only the first question is multiple choice while the other two are not. Creator Mini Speeder Mini Skyflyer Super Racer Red Rotors Fierce Flyer Construction Hauler Power Mech Thunder Wings Highway Speedster Small Cottage Treehouse Aviation Adventures Family House Creator - Expert Horizon Express Palace Cinema Sydney Opera House Winter Village Market
  13. Seeing how we are well within the year which shall be closing in just a few months, how about a little poll to gauge public opinion on each and every offering for the year of 2013. Notice: All themes listed as well as the questions posed are only for anything released in 2013 with the odd exception of The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey as those sets were released right at the tail end of 2012 at the beginning of December making them more of 2013 sets really. The theme of Creator also covers it's subtheme of Expert, and the two factions in Super Heroes are separate because of the complete diversity each one has. This is a multiple choice poll so you are able to select more than one answer for each question.
  14. Just in case you did not know (or stumbled upon them like me), all three of this year's advent calendars are available from Lego Shop-at-Home in every region. City Advent Calendar - $29.99 Star Wars Advent Calendar - $39.99 Friends Advent Calendar - $29.99
  15. Here is a Eurobricks review of the upcoming Treehouse. Name: Treehouse Number: 31010 Pieces: 356 Minifigures: 1 Retail: US - $29.99, CAN - $39.99, AUS - $49.99, UK -
  16. These Friends sets are continuing to impress me more and more. They just seem to keep getting better and better. Love this new cruise liner that's coming out later this year. Thank you Jason and Stephen over at The Brick Show for this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GeJ6kUmyn4
  17. This game is really big and looks super fun! The strategey probably involves trying to scale and defend the walls. Link
