10215 - UCS: Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter

Although not a real favorite among the Lego Star Wars AFOLs, the 10215 Obi-Wan Jedi Starfighter is on sale at Lego.com for $59.99. A good deal for a Ultimate Collectors Series set that will probably be discontinued soon if it is being discounted so heavily by Lego. Normal MSRP was $99.99 and this is a set I paid $100 for months ago. Here's the link: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Obi-Wan-s-Jedi-Starfighter-10215

LEGO UK site discounted this set by 50% recently - the EOL is nigh! It was definately my time to buy, especially with free postage and a free small Sopwith Camel. LOL. Today, the shipping date on further orders has already been pushed back. Having a quick check on the UK ebay site, I note that plenty of people are already trying to sell the 10215 for above its original price, probably a few months premature, but it will be interesting to watch. And if you haven't already got one, then find one. Likewise, set 10212 will prove to be a winner. It's a stunning model, and I need to pick up a couple more...

I paid 79 Euro, on the Lego store is priced at... Actually, it's missing from the Spain and US Lego Store, so maybe it was a good deal after all.

Seems like a fair price. I really like the set. Very underrated. Displays well as Stackables said. I think it will be one of those sets like the 10026 UCS Naboo Starfighter that is not appreciated early by collectors, then one day......WHAMMO, people love it.

I think this is never going to be a big gainer, but UCS collectors/fans are probably going to want one for their collection. For those that were around for the firesale, obviously they aren't going to be buying on the secondary market, but for recent AFOLs and SW fans, this is likely the cheapest entry into UCS sets and a nice starting point. I got a couple for under $50 and hope that, with patience, this set will hit the $150s or more.
