i cant recall if the EV3 is mentioned, but AS is excluded. or are u talking about the SW sets?

i was talking about EV3 and AS. here is the text of recent coupon. it mentions "lego from toys and games  section", but not AS or EV3 by name. And my understanding is that B&****** does not consider EV3 and AS to be part of toys and games

while the coupon itself doesn't specify AS and EV3, the exclusion list that can be found by following the link provided on the coupon does. kinda twisted IMH and adds to the confusion.. also worth noting, only the AS is excluded among the arch sets, for now anyways.

Yup. Here is a link to that more detailed exclusion list:

It just worked for me on a lego minecraft micro world set...

I don't think anyone said that it would not work. People were discussing exclusion list. It is up to cashier to decide if he wants to enforce exclusions  (or even know about them). Unless the exclusion is hard-programmed to POS (like in case of AS and probably EV3)

Online, there are still a few sets that will allow use of the coupons

Ethics aside, you may want to wait when manager is not within direct sight. Those could have read the memo

Totally not trying to get away with anything...in fact, I purposefully told the cashier, "I've read that these coupons don't work on lego anymore..." He said he'd try it anyway.

I actually wish they were programmed in, to elucidate confusion on what coupons work on....

I don't believe that is from the toy section. The minecraft sets are usually at another place.

Mine has the Minecraft sets in the toys department but on a completely different shelf then all the other Legos. But architecture sets are not in the toy section they are over by the puzzles and games. So it really does seem confusing as to what sets they are meeting to exclude if not all of them.
